‘The Army of Luck – The Global Pursuit of Happiness’ by German artist Boris Petrovsky was the irresistible image among 30,000 works by 1,500 artists at the Karlsruhe art fair.
The artist calls it a “matrix made of 520 beckoning Lucky Cats.” In Japan, golden cats symbolize happiness “and with their paws wave business success,” says Petrovsky, who shows at ABTART in Stuttgart.
